Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety and client care. This qualification will prepare you for employment as a beauty therapist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a beauty massage therapist.

Threading
Threading allows for a more defined and precise shape and can create better definition for eyebrows. It is also used as a method of removing unwanted hair on the entire face and upper lip area. Threading is not a good method for removing hair on arms or legs, as the hair in those regions is typically quite coarse and there is too much to remove.

During this unit you will learn all the techniques needed to be able to perform treatments to a high standard, with confidence and pride.
This course is a 10 day course, which is run on Saturdays. You will be taught a treatment every other week, giving you time to practice at home, to build your techniques and speed.

Equipment and machines will be available during the course, but buying the kit is essential, as you will need the products during class at home to practice.
